We are passionate about a museum in Lebanon
The Lebanon Museum Foundation Board of Directors is a group of volunteers who are passionate about preserving Lebanon’s past, teaching and presenting it to the community and beyond.
The non-profit foundation was created in 2018 after the mayor and city council appointed a committee to investigate starting a museum. In October 2018, the Foundation held a public kick-off event and in December we took ownership of a small collection assembled by a group of local residents who had worked in years past to start a museum.
These historical items, including documents, photographs, Native American artifacts, and other materials, are now housed in a storage room at the Lebanon Public Library.
We are now looking for a safe and secure home for these old treasures and a place where everyone can come to learn about the rich history and culture of our town. We hope you will help us Build Our Story! #ourlebanonstory
